Sylvain Clavé

Background

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2010, Sylvain Clavé founded Dive Law Firm to assist executives, investors, and regulated financial entities with their high-stakes strategic operations.

He provides his clients with broad expertise covering mergers and acquisitions, equity transactions, the structuring of investment vehicles, and banking and financial markets regulation, all with an operational and pragmatic approach.

He practiced for over fifteen years as an associate with corporate finance specialized law firms (including a nearly one-year secondment experience within the legal department of a portfolio management company), then as a Senior Counsel at a leading French law firm, working within the Corporate and Banking & Finance departments. He then decided to establish his own boutique firm, Clavé Avocats, in 2022, and then Dive in 2026.

He is a recommended lawyer for FinTech and cybersecurity startups accelerators.

When he's not working for his clients, Sylvain Clavé enjoys fine dining and loves the great outdoors. He also has a passion for video games and pop culture.
